about me
Philanthropist
As part of her dedication to making the seemingly impossible happen in the lives of others, Smith has volunteered her estate to those who may have neglected their own well-being or are in need of a quick reset.
Ranch Owner
Nestled among the rolling hills and vineyards of California, Smith’s estate serves a higher calling, serving as a place of peace, serenity, renewal, and connection.
Equestrian Expert
Through her horses, in particular her Arabians, Smith has found a connection to empathy, serenity, and even technology.
“A simple horseback ride through the vineyard is transformative. Sometimes it’s just touching the soft nose of the horse — I’ve seen the ravaged souls of people light up after an encounter.”
– Ann Lesley Smith
Ann Lesley Smith is a philanthropist, ranch owner, and equestrian expert dedicated to using her California ranch and vineyard as a sanctuary for healing, empowerment, and equine-assisted therapy.
She is the proud owner of Amir Fadjur Salaam, a rare Arabian stallion and direct descendant of The Fabulous Fadjur—one of the most legendary and beloved Arabian horses in American history. Born at the same 177-year-old ranch that once raised Fadjur himself, Amir carries forward a legacy that shaped the nation’s equestrian heritage.
Through her work with rescued and rehabilitated individuals, Ann blends her passion for horses with a deep mission of transformation, creating a space where faith, philanthropy, and the enduring spirit of the Arabian lineage come together to restore lives and inspire hope.
